Two outstanding legacies! Dr. Jim Weese has been named the L.B. “Mike” Pearson Award recipient today at the U SPORTS Conference and Annual Meeting in St. John’s, Newfoundland. He served as dean of Human Kinetics at @uwindsor for seven years until 2004 and previously played for and coached the Lancers. Additionally, Dr. Joanne MacLean was named the recipient of the Austin-Matthews Award. She was previously the University of Windsor’s director of athletics and women’s basketball coach. Congratulations to two incredible individuals on their well-deserved recognition for their outstanding careers in Canadian university sport!
