It’s officially the end of an era for Chicken Shop Date 😭⁠ ⁠ Amelia Dimoldenberg has announced that the hugely popular interview series is coming to an end after 12 years, although there are still “a few final dates” to come before she calls time on it for good.⁠ ⁠ The idea began when Amelia was just 17, before becoming a YouTube series in 2014 and growing from awkward dates with UK grime artists into interviews with some of the biggest names in the world.⁠ ⁠ Billie Eilish, Cher, Ed Sheeran, Andrew Garfield and Sir Paul McCartney are among more than 100 guests who have sat across from Amelia in a chicken shop over the years.⁠ ⁠ Explaining her decision, Amelia said she once thought the show would be part of her life forever, but feels now is the right time to move onto a new chapter.⁠ ⁠ Now we just need to know who she’s saved for those final dates 👀⁠ ⁠ #chickenshopdate #amelia #ladbible
