The problem with modern relationships is that we confuse attraction with compatibility.
A man can be incredibly attracted to a woman without actually liking her as a person.
And the same thing happens in reverse.
Sexual attraction creates this biological pull that makes us feel like we know someone long before we actually do.
So we start a relationship with the assumption:
"We're attracted to each other, therefore we're compatible."
But that's not how it works.
You're two completely different human beings, with different values, worldviews, interests, personalities and ways of seeing life.
So why not get to know the person first?
Take the romance off the table for a moment.
I'm a human consciousness.
You're a human consciousness.
Let's see who you actually are.
Do we enjoy talking to each other?
Do our values align?
Do we respect each other's worldview?
Do we actually like each other?
And if attraction grows from that foundation, you've got something far more sustainable.
