Suno is pulling an advertisement featuring
#MaryJBlige appearing to co-sign the controversial AI music platform, as Blige herself never approved the advertisement in the first place.
In the ad, Blige is seen in a studio with a music producer who seems to be using Suno to produce a song akin to her own discography. In the video, the producer walks Blige through the process, and she makes a few creative suggestions for the song, though it’s difficult to make out what exactly Blige was discussing.
In a statement given to THR, a representative for Suno said the company had coordinated with someone who inaccurately told Suno they officially represented Blige.
