You would never look at that little girl and tell her she wasn’t good enough. You wouldn’t tell her she was too sensitive. Too emotional. Too much. Not pretty enough. Not smart enough. Not worthy enough. So why is it okay to say those things to yourself now? Sometimes the voice telling us we aren’t enough isn’t the truth. It’s an old belief we’ve carried for so long that we stopped questioning where it came from. Picture the little version of you standing in front of you saying, “I don’t think I’m good enough.” Would you agree with her?
