Suffolk police were investigating the scene where a woman was found dead in her house in Sayville, authorities said. The Suffolk County Police Commissioner scheduled an 11 a.m. news conference at the scene "to provide information on the circumstances surrounding a woman who was found dead in her Pearl Court home," according to a police department news release.
