A pedestrian was killed after he was struck by a car while crossing the street in Flanders, Southampton Town police said. Wayne Conforti Jr., 37, of Flanders, was crossing the street near Flanders Road, a lighted intersection near Oak Avenue, when a 2016 Toyota Tacoma traveling west on Flanders Road struck him.
