"While we have time, let us do good." ๐Ÿ‡บ๐Ÿ‡ธ On the morning of September 11, 2001, off-duty FDNY firefighter Stephen Siller had just finished his shift and was on his way to play golf with his brothers. When he heard the news over his scanner, he turned around, strapped on 60 pounds of gear, and ran on foot through the closed Brooklyn Battery Tunnel toward the Twin Towers. He gave his life so others might live. Chris Bernard went to school with Stephen. On 9/11, he was deployed to Ground Zero himself and stayed for weeks supporting recovery efforts. Twenty-five years later, he sat down with us to talk about what Stephen's last run set in motion, and the movement it built. We're proud to stand with tunnel2towers. #NeverForget #TunnelToTowers
