Okay, hear me out before the pageant police come for me. 😂 When they announced the streetwear competition at Miss Grand USA, I knew this was MY category. Pageantry has taught me how to be polished, poised and elegant… but I’ve also learned that the most powerful thing you can bring to a stage is your actual personality, it’s BEING YOU. So I threw on the backwards hat, headphones, boots, grabbed my drinknodaysoff , my Nevada sash and walked that runway like I was exactly where I belonged. And somehow… I WON THE STREETWEAR COMPETITION. 🏆😂 Surprised? Honestly… not really. #treasurefierce was made for the stage. A crown was never going to make me less me. If anything, it just gave her another accessory. 👑 Moral of the story: you don’t have to fit the stereotype to wear the crown. You just have to own who you are.
