The Athletics Integrity Unit has provisionally suspended 🇺🇬 Harbert Kibet for the presence and use of prohibited substances – triamcinolone acetonide and exogenous steroids confirmed by IRMS analysis. He represented Uganda at last year’s World Championships in Tokyo but failed to advance from the heats. In February, he made his 10K debut on the roads at the 10K Facsa Castellón and won in a world-leading 26:39, which put him at No. 4 on the all-time road 10K list. The 21-year-old has not competed since a 15th-place showing (13:46.45) in the 5000m at the Xiamen Diamond League in May.
