On Saturday, 29 August, we welcomed Asher Sahil Zuckerman into the world 💙 I think my face in this photo captures what birth was really like- raw, emotional, messy and, downright ugly. Birth is WILD. There is really nothing else quite like it. I have a whole new appreciation for what women and our bodies are capable of, and I feel very grateful to have joined this incredible club. Having my mum there to witness Asher being born made it even more special. There was something so emotional about having the woman who gave birth to me standing beside me as I gave birth to my own baby. A moment I know I’ll treasure forever. And of course, my amazing husband, who was right there beside me and watched the whole thing unfold. He now has his own very detailed version of the birth story and would LOVE to share his point of view with anyone who asks him nicely 😂 There is SO much more to this story because, wow..,it was an eventful day!!!
