Isaiah Wright’s story is easily one of the most memorable ones to come out of Last Chance U. After making a name for himself at East Mississippi Community College, Wright quickly became a fan favorite thanks to his athleticism, speed, and ability to make defenders miss in the open field. His journey eventually led him to Temple and then to the NFL, where he signed with Washington as an undrafted free agent. Going from junior college to the NFL is already an extremely difficult path, and Wright’s journey showed just how much it can take to get there. Unfortunately, Wright’s football career was later derailed by legal troubles, bringing his NFL opportunity to an early end. Still, fans who watched Last Chance U remember him as one of the most talented and entertaining players from the show. His story was a perfect example of both the opportunities football can create and how quickly things can change. 🏈 #LastChanceU #IsaiahWright #CollegeFootball #NFL #Football (via: tlawsarchives TT)
