Growing up in Tampa, Jacob was immersed in mahjong from a young age. His “Popo”, his paternal grandmother, taught him the game as a kid. What started teaching a group of five friends in their apartment, has turned into a rapidly growing mahjong community with multiple events a month. Chang’s goal? To make the events “as inclusive as possible”. They regularly host beginner nights with coaches that teach the game from scratch. 🀄 Want to play?
