Mayor Zohran Mamdani announced Friday the safety protocols the City is implementing for the West Indian Day Parade on Sept. 7.   Following last year's uptick of violence and a shooting during the parade, the City is increasing police presence throughout the parade route. They have also formed a Rapid Response Team to address any incidents before they escalate.   #Mamdani #NYC
