I came back to Nigeria with a vision, but what happened at Vision C camp was bigger than anything I could have built on my own. Friends flew in from America, my family gave their money, time, talents and support. So many people showed up simply because they believed these kids deserved an opportunity. One of the girls came to me on the first day and asked me about confidence. She was shy and barely spoke and by the last day, she was showing a completely different side of herself during the camp. Another young girl shared her business and ended up receiving sponsorship to help take it further. Some kids earned scholarships and others distinguished themselves through their talents, leadership, creativity, discipline and the way they showed up throughout the camp.
