I’m very excited for Ziaire Williams to get a shot with the Lakers this season for a few reasons. LA told him they’d like him to focus on being a POA defender and he’s bulked up to 215 pounds this offseason, a great sign for someone that’s on the lankier side. Ziaire is coming off the best season of his young career and CHOSE to sign a $2.5 million deal with the Lakers despite interest from other teams. On the other hand, Jonathan Kuminga basically admitted the lights are too bright in LA. Ziaire was that guy in high school and a lottery pick in 2021.
