Looking for a job? Boston might be the best place in America to be right now. Indeed has ranked the Boston metro area #1 in the country on its inaugural Best Cities for Work list, analyzing 228 U.S. metro areas. The ranking looked at six major factors, including job opportunities, compensation, career mobility, job security, flexibility and economic opportunity. Interestingly, Boston didn’t rank #1 in any individual category. Instead, Indeed says it took the top overall spot because it had no major weak point, offering one of the strongest combinations of pay, opportunity, career growth and quality of life. Washington, D.C. ranked #2, followed by Burlington, Vermont, San Jose and San Francisco. Not a bad time to have “Boston” in the location field. By the way, we have a weekly newsletter rounding up what’s worth doing and knowing about in Boston. One newsletter. Once a week. Link in bio. Media via Shutterstock/Indeed #mustdoboston #bantrbusiness
