Per Niko Moreno, the soundersfc final move before the deadline was a trade to acquire attacking midfielder/winger Caden Clark from DC United for a second-round draft pick for the 2028 MLS SuperDraft. The Sounders are picking up Caden Clark's current contract, which goes through 2026 with a one-year option.
