Finding new ways to turn a simple portrait into something completely different ✂️ with LexarMemory For this shoot, I kept things simple in camera because I knew I wanted to do most of the experimenting afterward. I shot everything on my Nikon Z f with a flash and gridded softbox, using Lexar’s 1TB Professional 1800x SD card as my main card and the 1TB Professional SILVER PLUS microSD as my backup, so every image was also saved to that second card From there, I color graded and printed my selects, cut them down, and layered colored gels over the prints by hand to build out these collages. I scanned everything back in, which added this really nice texture to the final images Since this process takes the photos through so many different stages, I like knowing I still have the original files backed up to come back to while I experiment.
