I found this recipe for these oatmeal fudge bars years and years ago in an old quaker cookbook and I’ve been making them ever since. These brownie bars are one of the reasons why I always have a can of condensed milk in my pantry. Yes, they are that good!! And so simple to assemble! . . Chocolate Fudge Oatmeal Bars . . Oat Topping: 3 cups old fashioned oats 2 ½ cups all-purpose flour 1 teaspoon salt 1 teaspoon baking soda 1 cup butter softened 2 cups packed brown sugar 2 eggs 1 tbsp vanilla Chocolate fudge: 1 (14oz) can sweetened condensed milk 2 cups of semi-sweet chocolate chips 3 tablespoons butter 1 tablespoon vanilla Preheat oven to 350F. Spray a 9x13 pan with cooking spray. Set aside. In a bowl combine oats, flour, salt, baking soda, butter, brown sugar, eggs and vanilla. Mix until combined.
