With two albums under her belt, Blondshell isn’t new to devoted fans. But after a spring and summer festival circuit that included Coachella and Bonnaroo, the New York–born Sabrina Teitelbaum is poised to bring her indie-rock singer-songwriter sensibility to the masses with Violins, her third studio album due September 25. (Ahead of its release, add past singles “Olympus,” “T&A,” and “Heart Has to Work So Hard” to your Blondshell starter pack.) The accomplishment is the realization of a childhood dream: “I saw Cher live in Vegas when I was 7 or 8. Confetti fell from the ceiling at the very end and I kept it in my little kid pocketbook. I was like, I wanna be a singer like Cher.”
