I DON’T JUST TALK ABOUT BASKETBALL… I REALLY DID THAT. 🏀💯 Basketball was my first love. ❤️🏀 Was I an amazing player? HELL NO. 😂 I didn’t have anywhere near the talent that a lot of these kids have today. But I WORKED. I worked my butt off. I came back from 6 knee surgeries and somehow kept playing the game I loved until I was 45 years old. And maybe that’s one of the reasons I do what I do today. I try to do for these young players what I wish someone had done for me: open doors, give advice, create opportunities, believe in them, and push them when they need pushing. Because talent is a blessing. But talent without WORK, DISCIPLINE, SACRIFICE and RESILIENCE will only take you so far. So I don’t want to hear the excuses. If this UNTALENTED OLD MAN could find a way… 😂😂 SO CAN YOU. WORK. COMPETE. GET BETTER.
