30 years later and all it takes is “Picture this…” and suddenly we’re teenagers in Chicago again. Windows down. CDs in the car. House parties, summer nights, cruising the city with nowhere we really needed to be. Do or Die was playing everywhere. Picture This was a soundtrack of the chicago experience in the 90s. It was part of growing up here. “Po Pimp,” “Playa Like Me and You,” “Paper Chase”… that whole album was the soundtrack to a generation of Chicago kids. Do or Die, Twista, Johnny P, let the world know, Chicago over everything.
