Mesa firefighters helped save a horse after it fell into a canal and could not get back out 😳🐴 The rider made it out safely, but the horse was trapped below the steep canal walls and started drifting farther into the water. As she became exhausted, firefighters and the owner worked to keep her head above water while crews prepared a way to pull her out. After nearly an hour, firefighters used lifelines and lifting straps to guide her to safety. She needed oxygen after the rescue, but eventually got back on her feet and was able to walk on her own ❤️ Huge respect to the crews who made this rescue happen 👏 #Arizona #Mesa #MesaAZ #ArizonaNews #AnimalRescue
