A 21-year-old Buckeye teacher’s aide is facing a felony after police say she posted an Instagram threat to shoot up the elementary school where she worked—while she was still at work. Court records say Sharde Booker claimed someone had spit on her before writing about “shooting up the school.” The post was reported to Meta, and Arizona’s Counter Terrorism Information Center alerted police. Investigators linked the account and location to WestPark Elementary. Police say Booker admitted making the post. She now faces a Class 3 felony for interfering with an educational institution and a misdemeanor for threatening or intimidating. Authorities say there is no ongoing threat to the campus.
