We are #ECUHealthProud to celebrate Charlsie Woodard, Hunter Venters, Rachel Ferrell, Richa Dhungana and Angela Jones as the first cohort to graduate from East Carolina University College of Nursing's Adult Gerontology Acute Care Nurse Practitioner program. They shared their paths to the program, what they learned along the way and how they're applying their studies to caring for eastern North Carolina. "I was transitioning to work in the emergency department (ED) and I quickly saw how medically complex our patients are,” said Angela Jones, a nurse practitioner at ECU Health Bertie Hospital. “It was clear I needed this program.
