Chattanooga’s transit agency plans to bring self-driving shuttles to town thanks to a $25 million grant from the U.S. Department of Transportation. The Chattanooga Area Regional Transportation Authority will use the funds to begin replacing its aging downtown electric shuttle fleet with autonomous shuttles, officials announced at a press conference Thursday.
