Recovery diaries: Desperately trying to reach day zero. It’s been a hectic week since Indy. We struggled to get imaging while was there because of weekend schedules so my first couple days at home were full of running around for appointments for imaging, ortho consults and the like. Now I’ve just been waiting for surgery. I got bumped yesterday so hopefully today is the day because I’m tired of fasting 🤞🏻. There’s never a good time to get hurt, but it seems like there are some particularly bad ones. This has been a big week. Michelles work has been hectic and Owen started school this week which added lots of excitement at home. It’s been fun hearing about his days, but I’m getting a little tired of him asking how long I have to wear this boot for. Bad news buddy 😂. I’ve been crushing as many tasks as I can before surgery to clear the runway for a relaxing start to recovery.
