While working full-time and raising a family, Douglas Miles Sr. enrolled at Mesa Community College. His time at MCC gave him the confidence to see what else was possible and helped lay the foundation for a career dedicated to telling Apache stories through art.
Today, Miles Sr. is an artist, activist, entrepreneur, and founder of Apache Skateboards, using his work to inspire Native youth to take pride in who they are and see new possibilities for their futures.
