This whole story is actually crazy when you think about it Jalin Hyatt entered the league with people making the OBJ comparisons. The speed was ridiculous, the big-play potential was obvious, and even Odell himself told Hyatt not to go breaking all of his rookie records. Fast forward a few years and OBJ ends up back in New York while Hyatt is the one fighting for his place. The NFL moves FAST. Hyatt had all the tools that made you believe he could eventually become a serious weapon for the Giants, especially as a vertical threat. But potential only gets you so far in this league. Opportunities disappear, depth charts change and suddenly the guy you were once compared to is standing in the same receiver room. And that’s what makes OBJ’s return even crazier.
