Puka Nacua has reached the point where we need to stop talking about him like he’s some great underdog story and start talking about him like what he actually is: one of the best receivers in football. The craziest part about Puka is that nothing about his game feels dependent on one specific thing. He can win underneath, make contested catches, break tackles after the catch, work the middle of the field and absolutely punish defenses when they give him space. And the hands are DIFFERENT. Some of the catches this dude makes look completely routine until you watch the replay and realize how difficult the adjustment actually was. He plays with the physicality of someone much bigger, but still has the route feel and body control to consistently create opportunities.
