For queen and country!! #RIPDollyParton It’s been a week since the news. How’ve you been holding up? We flew back to Nashvile from London yesterday and the lead British Airways flight assistant said “welcome to the future Dolly Parton International Airport” and it made my heart glow. As far as how I’m going, honestly, I’m still feeling the loss.. deeper than I even thought I would.. and I hold at the same time, that it’s be magnificent to see how she’s been celebrated and honored.. I literally had a friend text and say, “I had no idea what an awesome woman she was till she passed.” Yes, its still a great loss… but I do hope we can look at her life (so well lived) and find something to carry with us.. I know I have.. her light…her strength…her love of God…her acceptance of me, and so many… Let’s celebrate and grieve her well together. Sending my love.
