The Key 🔑 To Compression!
Most golfers struggle with iron play because their low point is too far back ❌
Two pretty common reasons:
1️⃣ Too much sway
Move too far off the ball and low point tends to move back with you.
Use a pool noodle by your trail hip. If you run into it, you may be swaying too much.
2️⃣ Casting
Often, casting is a reaction to an open clubface or poor sequence.
Get the face stronger first, then learn to retain a little more angle.
⚠️ Don’t force lag - that’s obviously not the point.
But if you’ve always dumped the angles early, exaggerating the opposite can help.
Forward low point + stronger clubface = more compression 💥
