It might be the delivery fee because we don’t want to go out, the last-minute booking because we didn’t plan ahead, the takeaway because cooking feels like too much effort, or the premium price we pay simply because something is quicker and easier. None of those choices are automatically bad. Sometimes convenience genuinely saves time, reduces stress and makes life easier and that can absolutely be worth paying for. The problem is when convenience becomes the default rather than a conscious choice.
