Repost from pauls612 • 6/2/2023 Spencer Firefighters responded to the First Congregational Church on Main Street for a building fire. A fast moving thunderstorm had just pasted thru the area that weather forecasters reported produced a large amount of lightning strikes in the area. The rest unfortunately is history. Fire consumed the church built in mid 1800's very rapidly.
