A Holiday Fresh Market for the Books! 🎁 In addition to the regular market this week, 159 families who shopped received the special gift of a holiday ham. All told, 4,840 pounds of produce were distributed to grateful local residents of 32114 and surrounding neighborhoods. We welcomed volunteers from Daytona Beach Black Nurses Association and Halifax Health to conduct wellness checks including A1C, BMI, and Blood Pressure tests. This event would not have been possible without the hard work of more than 41 volunteers - including a community-minded team from Bank of America - who lent a helping hand, and our partner in this initiative, Halifax Urban Ministries! This was our last Fresh Market of 2025. We’ll be back at the Dickerson Community Center Tuesdays at 5PM starting Jan. 6, 2026!
