Just because it’s made out of popsicle sticks, doesn’t mean it’s not valuable! Tramp art was largely made by stacking carved scraps of wood — often salvaged from cigar boxes and packing crates and carved with little more than a pocket knife — to create frames, boxes, mirrors, and even furniture. Today, the best examples are highly collectible pieces of American folk art.
