50 years ago today, on Sunday, September 5, 1976, the debut episode of #TheMuppetShow aired on United Kingdom television (or "telly" for our Brit friends). 🇬🇧 Did you know that due to shorter commercial breaks, an extra segment was filmed for each episode of The Muppet Show? These segments, called UK Spots, would air exclusively in the United Kingdom and included songs like "Act Naturally" performed by Gonzo "To Morrow" performed by The Country Trio. Thankfully, these spots can now be seen on whatever side of the pond you're watching The Muppet Show from!
