Florida State’s defense knows that SMU would like to establish the run game early with California running back transfer Kendrick Raphael, who had 943 yards and 13 touchdowns last year for the Golden Bears. This means that the interior of the defensive line will have to dominate the line of scrimmage, so contributors such as Daniel Lyons, Mandrell Desir, Jordan Sanders, Deante McCray, and Kevin Wynn will have to emerge. The defensive line was viewed as a “weak point” against New Mexico State in the opener by some of the fan base. However, youngsters like Kevin Wynn, who is entering his second season in Tallahassee, will have to grow up in his development and be someone that the Seminoles’ defense can rely on. 🔥 #gonoles #fsufootball #kevinwynn #floridastate #fsuvssmu
