Tonight we’re taking a moment to remember two of our greatest ever players: Sol Bamba and Peter Whittingham. August 31st marked two years since we lost Sol at the age of just 39. Sol had bravely battled cancer with the same courage and energy that he was known for during his playing days. A true giant of our Club and dearly missed. Today also marks what would have been Peter Whittingham’s 42nd birthday. We tragically lost Whitts in March 2020 and his warmth and wit remain with us in our memories and conversations about him to this day. Two legends of our Club. Friends, colleagues and heroes.
