😳 A Florida deputy ticketed a woman for allegedly holding her phone in her right hand while driving — except she doesn’t have a right hand. Kathleen Thomas was pulled over in Lake Worth Beach on February 11 after Deputy Yosvani Quesada claimed he saw her using the phone behind the wheel. Thomas immediately raised her right arm to show why his version of events couldn’t have happened the way he described it. The bodycam gets even more awkward when the deputy asks her to swear “hand to God,” prompting her to raise the same arm again. He then tells her to use her “other hand,” but still proceeds with the traffic stop. Thomas ultimately received a $116 citation for a handheld wireless-device violation. After the footage went viral, the citation was dismissed in May for insufficient evidence.
