Things my therapist mom actually say to my babies when they cry. Part two.
The first time I shared this, I didn’t expect it to reach the people it did. But it turns out a lot of us are hungry for language for the wordless parts of being small — and being human.
My mom taught me that a feeling doesn’t need a solution to be worth naming. Sometimes it just needs a witness.
So here’s the next round. Different days, different tears, same belief underneath all of it: they don’t need us to fix the feeling. They need us to see it.
Naming the feeling is still the whole thing. 🤍 Comment BOOK for a link to our coloring book with 20 of your favorite mantras to print, color, and put anywhere you need them. 🤍
