We are thrilled to share that Middle Township High School in Cape May Court House, NJ, has been honored with the 2026 AIE Residency Champion Governor’s Award as part of the statewide NJ Governor’s Awards in Arts Education (NJGAAE)! 🌟 This recognition celebrates the school’s exceptional five-year commitment to integrating long-term artist residencies into its curriculum. Partnering with teaching artist Gail Scuderi, the school has engaged over 200 students in collaborative, large-scale art installations—including stunning campus mosaic murals and structural ceramics. The projects boosted student confidence, increased environmental awareness, and helped form deep community connections.
