Turn with me and get a reward. Don’t turn with me and get corrected. Basically, you are giving them an option to succeed. Since you are using a command that the dog knows, he should understand that the correction, or discomfort that happens is caused by his failure to respond to you, not his proximity to the other dog or distraction.
