Congratulations to elevator operator—and FAB legend—Waclaw Kalata on his retirement! 🎉 🛗 We recently celebrated his 33 years at the Fine Arts Building with a party joined by staff and tenants to share memories, laughter, and well wishes. We proudly presented Waclaw with a plaque dedicating his many years of service. For over three decades, Waclaw brought tenants and visitors alike to where they needed to go in our iconic elevators. We already miss his sense of humor on our daily rides. In the words of FAB engineer Marcin Krol, Waclaw was "the best elevator operator this building has ever had. We're going to miss his smile, his jokes, and most of all, knowing that there was at least one person in this building who could get us up when we were down."
