A Nashville patient is suing Vanderbilt University Medical Center after he said he was at risk of HIV or hepatitis exposure following a procedure. Two years ago, on July 18th, 2024, the patient, who goes by Bzur Haun, said he got a routine colonoscopy at a Vanderbilt clinic, only to later receive devastating news. “A call center basically said I had been potentially exposed to bloodborne pathogens,” Haun said. “They mentioned HIV, hepatitis B, and hepatitis C." #Nashville #Vanderbilt #Medical #HIV
