The FDA has upgraded a previously announced recall of GreenWise Organic Whole Blueberries to a Class I recall, the agency’s highest-risk classification, due to possible E. coli contamination. The Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC) reports 12 people have been infected with the outbreak strain of E. coli across two states 🫐 The affected frozen fruit was distributed to Publix stores in eight states: Alabama, Florida, Georgia, Kentucky, North Carolina, South Carolina, Tennessee and Virginia.
