TDOT’s proposed “Choice Lanes” project on I-24 is sparking mixed reactions as officials look to tackle one of Middle Tennessee’s busiest and most congested corridors. The project would add optional express lanes between Nashville and Rutherford County, including Antioch, La Vergne and Murfreesboro. Drivers could pay a toll to use the lanes while the existing lanes would remain free.
