Heated Rivalry breakout star Connor Storrie made his Emmy Awards red carpet debut on Sept. 6 with his mom Linda Storrie after being nominated for Outstanding Guest Actor in a Comedy Series category. Storrie, 26, earned his first-ever Emmy nod for his February Saturday Night Live appearance, while Heated Rivalry was not eligible as a fully Canadian-financed production. For the Los Angeles event, the actor wore a dark gray Saint Laurent suit with a deep blue-green silk button-up, while Linda sparkled in a form-fitting gown. Although the honor ultimately went posthumously to Rob Reiner for The Bear, Storrie told The Hollywood Reporter in July that his SNL experience was a “pinch me” career moment.
