A 64-year-old woman was found alive in the debris of her home 10 days after a wall of ice, rock and mud tore through a Himalayan valley in Nepal, killing more than 1,300 people and leaving over 5,600 missing, local media reported. Chandika Shrestha was discovered on the fourth floor of her partially buried house in Nuwakot district by a team from Nepal's Armed Police Force on September 5. She was airlifted to a hospital in Kathmandu for treatment. #nepal #floods #asia
